Jørgen is cool, collected, and unless you know him rather well, he is quite reserved. Once you get to know him, he’s more passionate and open towards you. He’s not awkward, and is an ambivert, rather than being necessarily introverted or extroverted, though he tends to lean more towards the former, except for when under the influence. He’s a rather hard shell to crack, and he’s more of the ‘closed off’ type, rather than an open book. He does prefer solitude to a large group of people interacting with him directly at once. He finds crowds different as mostly what he does is sing and play his drumset, without all too much personal conversation and contact required from person to person. Once you have his friendship though, he will defend you with his life, and he is highly trustworthy and loyal, and he expects the same from the rest of his friends and allies.
He has a caring side for the people who he is close too, and has rather strong morals, believing strongly in Roman virtues and honor. He is by no means a coward, and will go far to defends those who mean a lot to him, like his sister, Kathalia, and the Legion. He’s intelligent, and knows how to handle his sister, and keep her safe, especially when her disorder is affecting her the most. He’s an egalitarian in all aspects, and even though he is Roman, he sees no species as superior to another. As long as someone is worthy of the title of being called his friend, he has no problem with their presence, though he would not be making friends with people anytime soon.
He’s more of a womanizer type of man, though he is more of a gentleman rather than a horny individual. He’s not superficial, and gifts are often small but meaningful. He has a lot of respect for not just women, but for people in general. He sees value in the human life and what it carries, he finds it completely and utterly disgraceful for someone to throw away their life. IN this regard, he means being idle. Bergen, Norway, was the birthplace of Jørgen Remi Nielsen, along with his twin sister, Kathalia. Their mother was young, an aspiring musician from a local Nordic metal group, who had met up with a man at one of her shows, which had led to her spontaneous pregnancy. She was even more surprised to learn that she wasn’t just carrying one child, but two.
Jørgen was very close with his sister, and for a lot of his life, he was very quiet and isolated from most of the other children. He thought a lot of what they did was immature and annoying, something he didn’t want to associate himself with. Finding friends at a young age was hard on the boy, and the middle school years were not all too easy on him. The other kids stayed far away from him, as he had a tendency to be somewhat brooding, and it unnerved a lot of the other children. For a child, his icy demeanor was alarming and off-putting, so it was only behind closed doors and turned corners that Kathalia was ever bullied, away from Jørgen’s unaware piercing stare. Jørgen had no idea what his sister was going through, and the emotional damage it caused her, which left her mentally broken, something he would never forgive himself for allowing to happen, putting himself at personal blame.
Perhaps the only person with the patience, concern and wits to handle Kathalia’s unstable personality was Jørgen, who took his role as Kathalia’s brother seriously. What he felt through all of this was guilt, guilt that he wasn’t there to stop it. In his mind, he believed this to be payback not towards Kathalia, but to him, for not being there to stop it all. Watching Kathalia like this was hard, so he made it his goal to help her through it with all he could, and to manage his sisters unstableness. He’s still the most knowledgeable on this out of everyone, and he has been highly protective of his sister ever since the incidents of bullying first occurred.
When the two of them were 10 years old they were approached by one of the wolves of Lupa’s pack at the steps of their small Norwegian home, demanding that the children be handed up for their lives in the legion. Their mother was in denial that the twins were the offspring of a god, that idea just simply wasn’t plausible in her mind. However, Jørgen and Kathalia left anyways, and were taken off to train with Lupa for their future in the Legion.
Jørgen made it through Lupa’s training with very little problems, and found himself adapting to the Roman way of life rather easily. He was a highly skilled soldier, and the Legion’s training had suited him well. Communicating in the Legion was his main struggle the first few years, knowing how to speak only minimal English. He did learn the language, though this barrier was enough to set him apart from a lot of his peers. Also, the fact that he was 6'4" and looked like he would kill you didn't exactly help all too much in the friend making department.
The war took its toll on him just as hard as it was for nearly anyone else. His sister, Kathalia, and the Legion, those two things were what mattered the most. He fought valiantly, defending the Legion and his sister, during the war. It was during this time of hardship that he began to draft songs, music being his only solace through the conflict ridden world he found himself thrown into. The law and order of the legion skewed left him a mess, and channeling this into his music was the best way he found to resolve it. He was not perfect, but over time grew to become a talented drummer and vocalist. He and his sister further bonded over a passion for music, which had almost been lost to the cookie-cutter lifestyle that Jørgen had fallen into during his years in the Legion. However, his 10 years of service reached an end, and he alongside Kathalia left to travel, sharing the music they had made with the world. The two of them preformed, Jørgen playing the drums and doing vocals for the songs that he wrote. Though a year was long enough for this, and the two of them had decided that it was time to return to Rome, or whatever was left of it. The two of them joined the Roman renegades, Jørgen seeing the group as the closest way to the Old legion, rather than follow Angel and some of the Romans to the joint camp.

ALCOKINESIS : Jørgen has the ability to turn any drink that he is holding or in the general proximity of, into wine. There are limitations, he cannot turn anything that isn’t a drink into wine, and it can only be wine, not any other sort of alcoholic drink. There are limitations to this. Using it too much is draining on him, and the farther he is from the drink in question, the less potent it is, in terms of both flavor and alcohol percentage. He makes the strongest alcohols when he is in direct contact with the drink or it’s glass, but just seeing it is enough to allow the ability to work.
MADNESS MANIPULATION : Jørgen has the ability to manipulate madness in other people, meaning that he can induce a state of temporary insanity of varying degrees on the person in question. How they are affected, he has no control of, as it depends on the mental strength of the other person, as well as his constant effort of maintaining the use of this ability. It requires sight of the person in question, and holding it up for a prolonged period of time and sustaining it appropriately is taxing on him. If something goes wrong, there is a chance that said insanity can not go away, and linger for a longer period of time, or even potentially forever.
Jørgen is also a natural with parties, and organizing large groups of people and keeping them entertained. Venues like concerts and organizations after that and afterparties might as well be his middle name, rather than Remi.
